No, not a new financial institution, this is a visit to what remains of the concrete banking of the old Brooklands race track at Byfleet. I visited this on a circular ride from the Anchor Pub at Pyrford Lock on the Wey Navigation, on as nice frosty day. | Banking of the old Brooklands Race Track. This is a publicly accessible bit in Brooklands Community park, and it is overgrown with moss. Other bits are in better condition and still used for cars, but I don't think they are accessible to the general public. |
