Today, I parked at the NT DPB car park, and returned to Gibbet Hill where I ended my last ride along the KAW from Farnham, and rode the KAW to Liss (more exactly, the start of the railway path into Liss), about 13 miles. I rode back to the start by a slightly shorter route, using the track of the disused Military Railway across the Longmoor training area, the range perimeter path and Bramshott Common south of the A3, which passes the Canadian WW1 memorials (more details in this blog). Here's a map.
Another very enjoyable ride. Here's some photos.

Just next to the A287/A333 junction is Undershaw, Former residence of Arthur Conan Doyle. In Victoriam times, the area was known as Little Switzerland, and many 'celebrities' had country homes there (eg Tennyson) |
