Two-thirds of the challenge is complete. Today was a rest day (two nights spent at the Tontine Hotel). Peebles is a very good little town for fixing your bike, fixing yourself (physio), getting laundry done (Northgate Laundry, service wash for £8 per bag), taking in some culture (Eastgate Theatre), learning about the town (town walk guide from the tourist office) or generally just loafing (stroll by the banks of the Tweed).
